UMW

OUR PURPOSE

The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

First UMC McAlester has a very active UMW group which includes four (4) circles.

ESTHER CIRCLE

Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1:30 pm. Ann Grilliot is the contact person for this circle.

FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE

Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. Sarah Fry is the contact person for this circle.

RUTH CIRCLE

Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1:30 pm. Lucille Ford is the contact person for this circle.

SARAH CIRCLE

Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am. Claudine Barringer is the contact person for this circle.
