Wednesday Night Live is First UMC's exciting Wednesday night program! There is something for every age!
Meets at the Grand Avenue Campus during the school year & at the Wesley Campus during the summer.

DINNER
Come join us for dinner every Wednesday night! The menu is always changing! And the cost is always low!
HOUSE OF PRAISE
House of Praise is a full hour of praising God through contemporary songs and prayer. While the service may appeal more to the younger set, it is intended for all ages. It takes place in the sanctuary on the 1st Wednesday of every month.
CHOIR REHEARSAL
Music is at the heart of Grand Avenue, and Wednesday night is our Chancel Choir's opportunity to rehearse together. New voices are always welcome! Choir sings from 7:00-8:00.
CHILDREN
First UMC McAlester is committed to giving children a solid Christian foundation and providing them the tools they need to grow for years to come! The Kidzone includes a rotation of music, crafts, and a lesson. The children meet on the Second Floor from 6:00-7:00.
YOUTH
Wednesday night is the cornerstone of our Youth Program at First UMC McAlester. Around 40 youth gather every Wednesday during the school year for fellowship, study, and fun! The youth enjoy their own dinner starting about 6 pm and move up to the Third Floor around 6:30.
One or more short-term adult studies are offered on Wednesday nights for interested participants. Topics range from Bible study to theological and social topics. Most classes are come-as-you-can.
Parenting-by-Faith meets in the Fellowship Classroom and the Bible or Topical Study meets in the Library (both in the Basement).
