Tweens (5th-6th)
Welcome to FUMC's exciting new Tween Ministry designed specifically for 5th & 6th Graders!
What is a Tween? A Tween is someone who is not a child, but not yet a youth, and who needs a special place of their own. They are "in between" and defined as 5th & 6th graders. To meet the unique needs of our Tweens, we are starting a ministry at First United Methodist Church @ Grand Avenue just for them and their friends!
TWEENS
The fun begins at 3:30 pm every Wednesday.
Right after school we'll gather at Grand Avenue and then head out on an adventure. We'll return to the church by 5 pm--in time for dinner! Then at 6 pm we'll gather in the new Tween Room on the Second Floor.
Our fisrt meeting of the new school year will be Wednesday, August 25, 2010!
Summer may be over, but we are just getting started!
Each Wednesday we'll have time together in fellowship followed by an interactive lesson.
